The AIRPURLABS 30 g air purifier cleans the air inside your car — up to 3 m³ — without electricity, without plugging in and without a masking fragrance. It permanently captures volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde, found in particular in the new materials of the car interior and in exhaust fumes from surrounding traffic, and neutralises stubborn odours such as tobacco. Its efficacy was measured by the independent FCBA institute according to ISO 16000-23: −44% formaldehyde within 24 hours and around −30% for the other VOCs tested (toluene, n-dodecane), in a test chamber.

How does the AIRPURLABS purifier work?

The patented AIRPURLABS® active ingredient is held in a wool pad designed to let air pass through continuously. This design maximises the contact surface between the air in the car and the active ingredient, which absorbs and retains pollutants instead of simply masking them with a fragrance. No batteries, no cigarette-lighter plug, no maintenance.

How long does this car air purifier last?
Up to 2 years under normal conditions of use. Smoking in the car speeds up the saturation of the active ingredient and shortens this period.

Does it work with the engine off?
Yes. The AIRPURLABS® active ingredient works continuously through simple contact with the air in the car — it needs no power supply, so the engine does not need to be running.

Is it effective against tobacco odour in a car?
Yes, it is one of the most common uses of this format: cigarette odour is particularly persistent in an enclosed car interior, and the purifier neutralises it rather than masking it.
