Prestigious awards and press recognition for Airpurlabs

Thanks to the commitment of journalist Mériem Lay, who revealed the seriousness of indoor pollution and featured our inventor, Thierry MICLO, in her report "Poison House, when our interiors pollute " (France 5, 2013), the Airpurlabs^® brand was born. It was awarded a bronze medal in 2016, then a gold medal in 2019 at the prestigious Lépine Competition. Today, it embodies a responsible alternative, praised by consumers.

Scientifically proven efficacy for our air purifier

Tested by the independent technology institute FCBA according to ISO 16000-23, its efficacy is scientifically proven. Made of boiled wool to allow air to diffuse through, our air purifier requires no electricity consumption. Moreover, it neutralizes volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and formaldehyde for up to 2 years thanks to the natural air convection in our living spaces (when you place a dehumidifier, it's the same principle; in this case, it captures humidity thanks to natural air convection).

Our innovation: Combining the power of activated carbon and acetoacetamide to combat indoor air pollution

For ultra-effective action, our eco-friendly air purifier is composed of activated carbon with a very high contact surface (1000m2/g) that captures Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and acetoacetamide, which specifically captures formaldehyde through irreversible bonding.

Thanks to the use of these two anti-pollutants, Airpurlabs^® leads to a reduction of up to 44% in formaldehyde (within 24 hours!) and approximately 30% for other tested VOCs (toluene and n-dodecane) under testing conditions*.

Note that the adsorption technique of our air purifier requires no maintenance or energy consumption, and it generates no harmful by-products from activated carbon or acetoacetamide. The icing on the cake is that Airpurlabs^® neutralizes bad odors, such as cigarette smoke, for example.
